YSD’s contribution to the production of Dancing My Shiva helped the organisers put together a much anticipated performance by two world-renowned artistes that highlighted one of the oldest forms of classical Indian dance, well known for its grace, purity, tenderness and sculptural poses. Support for this project is YSD’s first initiative to increase awareness of classical Indian dance in Malaysia, aimed inter alia at encouraging the appreciation of traditional dance among Malaysians.
