KUALA LUMPUR, August 16th – The Solo Artbeat exhibition co-hosted by RSGC and the artist Halimah Mohd Said, a fellow RSGC Member with a sponsorship by Yayasan Sime Darby is a charity event to support the promotion of art education especially among disadvantaged communities. Not only is this endeavour noble in itself, but it will certainly show the generosity of RSGC Club Members and other Malaysians in preserving the arts and culture under the auspices of the natural and cultural heritage of their beautiful country.

The launch event at RSGC on Tuesday, 16 August 2022 was graced by DYMM Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah and DYMM Tuanku Zara Salim.

“Through our Arts & Culture pillar, YSD is keen to support projects which benefit and reach budding artists towards grassroots development in this arena, as is the aim of the proceeds from this exhibition. We also look forward to having our existing trusted partner Persatuan Kakiseni as a recipient of these proceeds to carry out charity arts education initiatives, as this will support underserved communities for important exposure to the arts towards impactful development,” said Dr Yatela Zainal Abidin.

The event presents a golden opportunity for everyone to do their bit for charity. From the artist who will donate all proceeds from the sale of her artworks, to the individuals and corporations who will generously buy and own them or give them away as gifts.
