Employees Education Programme
AT ASIA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS (aSB) IN COLLABORATION WITH MIT SLOAN MANAGEMENT
YSD invites Sime Darby Companies to nominate high potential employees to apply for a scholarship to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) for Working Professionals Programme on a part-time basis at Asia School of Business (ASB) in collaboration with MIT Sloan Management.
1) Eligibility Requirements
a) Malaysian.
b) Employee is nominated by the HR department of a Sime Darby company from high-potential talent pool.
c) A full-time employee at a Sime Darby company or its subsidiaries in Malaysia only. This privilege will not be extended to employees in associated corporations (‘Associate Companies’ means companies in which a Sime Darby company’s shareholding is less than 50%).
d) At least 2 years of service within a Sime Darby company.
e) A minimum CGPA of 3.30 and above and/or its equivalent in his/her most recent academic qualification.
2) Value of Scholarship
The scholarship covers course fees inclusive of academic fees, enrolment deposit, book allowance, thesis allowance, on-campus accommodation for the 19 residency weeks, 4-week MIT Sloan immersion, as well as flight, meals and other related expenses for the MIT Sloan immersion.
3) Service Bond Period
2 years at a Sime Darby company upon completion of studies.
