Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) today celebrated its special needs scholars and mentors to these scholars, in a ceremony officiated by YB Senator Datuk (Dr.) Ras Adiba Mohd Radzi at Menara Sime Darby, in honour of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Today, Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD), one of the oldest corporate foundations in Malaysia, celebrated the 40th anniversary of its establishment.

Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) and Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) collaboratively organised a roundtable discussion on “Sexual Harassment: Our Obligations” on 22 March 2022, as part of YSD’s month-long International Women’s Day celebration.

Yesterday, Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood, Special Advisor on Public Health to Y.A.B. Prime Minister of Malaysia, received Yayasan Sime Darby’s (YSD) first contribution in response to the Greater Klang Valley Special Task Force (GKVSTF) request for assistance, in the form of 20 units of Hyundai Starex 2.5(A) from YSD Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Hjh.

RM2.5 million grant was awarded by Yayasan Sime Darby to KOMITED Malaysia, a Community-Based Organisation led and run by former People Who Injects Drug (PWID) to address issues related to drugs and HIV/AIDS vulnerability.

• YSD committed RM2 million until 2022 to support Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) in their continuous efforts in upholding gender equality and improving women’s rights.
• The YSD IWD 2021 virtual celebration honoured accomplished women leaders who have collaborated with YSD in various corporate social responsibility projects.

Yayasan Sime Darby channels RM600,000 for study on the use of Tocilizumab in preventing severe infections from progressing to critical stage which require ventilation assistance.

Kuala Lumpur, 30 April 2020 – Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) has committed to fund clinical trials led by University Malaysia Medical Centre (UMMC) to treat severe COVID-19 cases utilising Tocilizumab (TCZ), a medication used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
